Commit to yourself and your practice. It’s easy and there are no strings. Just a lot of support and encouragement and a new community to lean into.
What to know!
Before you come to your first class

Give yourself time and space to get acquainted with the space.
Grab some water, get your mat set up, and ask any questions about the studio you might have.
Arrive to your mat with calm and ease.

Our parking lot is located on site, and has plenty of spaces, but can get full during the more popular classes.
Early arrival helps guarantee ease with parking.
The entrance to the studio is in the front of the big MaMA building.
From the parking lot, walk towards 209 to the gardens in the front, and you’ll find our entrance.

Yourself!
And some water (or a bottle for water). We have a refill station.
Wear comfortable clothes - something you feel good moving in.
We have free rental yoga mats at the studio.
Practicing on your own mat has its benefits, but finding the right mat can take some time, and it can be an investment. Lean on us until you find the right one.

Keep yourself hydrated prior to and following class.
If you are practicing early in the morning, you may want to practice on an empty stomach or only have a light snack.
When practicing late in the morning or day, make sure you eat at least 2 hours prior to class.

It can be intimidating walking into a new space, but try to release yourself from judgement and give yourself some grace with your practice.
A yoga practice is meant to be sustained over a lifetime.
