SARA TRAPANI, Founder & Director

SARA TRAPANI, E-RYT is the Founder & Director of Whole Sky Yoga. Sara’s teaching is a blend of creative sequencing and safe alignment. A longtime teacher and Bard College and the Omega Institute, she has introduced hundreds of students to the practice of yoga. She specializes in teaching vinyasa to all levels of practitioner.

Serving in the U.S. Peace Corps in Senegal West Africa, 07′-09′, Sara deepened her yoga practice and created a yoga program for young women in her village, Koumpentoum. She has since taken more than 400 well-rounded hours of additional training and is an avid reader and self-teacher of best practices in modern postural alignment.

Sara took a leap of faith from her full-time development career at Omega Institute to launch Whole Sky Yoga which grown steadily since it’s opening in March of 2014. In addition to her role as teacher and business owner, Sara consults for the Rondout Espous Land Conservancy (RELC) and for the renowned online yoga resource, Yoga International, where you can practice online with Sara.
